March Trestle Board

From The East

Our plans at start of this New Year have been some what hampered due to the inclement weather.  We have been able to follow our schedule with a fair amount of success.  The hope is that things will be better in the coming months and that we will follow our plans that have been, or will be, implemented in the future for a successful year.

March is the month of our Grand Lodge Annual Communication. To be held at the Marriott Inn in Farmington on March 29th, 30th.  And 31st. The three principle officers of the Lodge are expected to attend. If you cannot attend, make sure that you assign your Proxy to someone else.

Our sincere congratulations to Brother Matt Provencal and Jonathan Kuhn upon receiving their Entered Apprentice degree on February 11, 2009. We are looking forward to the return of their proficiency and receiving the FellowCraaft Degree on March 11, 2009.

Our Fund Raiser for February, the Valentines Day Dinner, was very successful. Particularly in view of all the competition we had through out the community. Our sincere thanks to R\W\ Lee and Luba Bugbee for a very delicious dinner.

March 15, 2009 a Pancake Breakfast is planned from 12:00 P.M. to 2; 00 P.M. come and enjoy the fine meal and fellowship.

Lodge Committees are assigned each year to support and implement the various programs and projects for the year. These Committees are a vital part of the overall operation tor the success of every lodge. They are not to be taken lightly. Much thought and effort goes into the selection of proper committee to accomplish the task for which the committee was formed. We attempted to select Brethren whose talent was conducive to the task directed by each committee. If you have been selected for a Committee and you do not feel, for any reason, that you do not want to be on that particular committee, let your desire be known so that someone else, who has an interest in that program be assigned to the project.
